Ryder Cup Guelph - Competition
Membership fees
$5 per event show / no show
majority of which will pay for year end party. All fees will be accounted for and shown on website.
New members will be required pay catch up by Aug 12th, 2019
$10 per event participation - to be used for prizes
*Guests are allowed to play in a maximum of 2 events, after which they are required to join and pay all event fees from date of first event. (rule does not apply to out of province or international guests)
Competition Format
18 Holes of golf played under the following format.
RULES
Only on the last 6 holes (Scramble) will you be given a club length from your ball, no closer to hole
Players who commit to playing, but do not show up will not be allowed to play in the next event. All calls to be direct to John Barnes or Paul Gillis.

Competition Format
18 Holes of golf played under the following format.
- Partners will be drawn at the golf course 30min prior to play.
- Check in no later than team selection. Failure to do so excludes player from game.
- No Player is allowed to play outside of the Ryder Cup group as a single player.
- 1st 6 holes played individually with only the best score marked on the card.
- 2nd 6 holes played alternatively between partners using alternate drives.
- Last 6 holes to be played best ball scramble.

Money prizes will be awarded in the following manner
1st place 50%
2nd place 30%
3rd place 20%
Closest to the hole prize will be awarded as available.
First hole-in-one will receive a flask and bottle.
Point System Example
1st - 0 points
2nd - 1 point
3rd - 2 points
4th - 3 points
Ties will split the points
